Carlos has been an associate at Arrubla Devis since 2025. He previously served as legal secretary for the Superior Court of the Antioquia Football League. He has a special interest in sports law and litigation, particularly in relation to private law, public international law, and criminal law. 

He served as an academic instructor in the Criminal Law Department at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana for two consecutive terms. He participated in the ICON-S National Seminar and the 14th International Congress on Constitutional Procedural Law. He also participated in drafting the Protocol for the Prevention, Response, and Eradication of Gender-Based Violence in Sports for the Antioquia Football League. He is currently in his ninth semester of law school at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
